General Notes

'Aurea' has gold and green foliage.

Has fragrant Bark and Leaf.

Native to Korea.

Family: Pinaceae

Tree Characteristics

Conical Shape.

Has Evergreen foliage.

Height: 15 - 35 feet.

Width: 8 - 20 feet.

Growth Rate: 12 Inches per Year.

Longevity 50 to 150 years.

Leaves Needle, Medium Green, No Change, Evergreen.

Flowers Inconspicuous. Flowers in Spring. Has separate male and female flowers on the same tree (monoecious).

Brown or Purple Cone, Large (1.50 - 3.00 inches), fruiting in Winter.

Bark Cream, Dark Brown or Purple, Fissured.

Shading Capacity Rated as Very Dense in Leaf.

Litter Issue is Dry Fruit.
