Leaves Oblong, Blue Green, Green or Blue, Red or Orange, Deciduous.

Flowers Showy. Pink. Flowers in Spring or Summer. Has either male or female flowers (dioecious). Trees may be sold as male or female.

Brown Drupe, Very Small (Under 0.25 inches), fruiting in Summer or Fall.

Bark Dark Brown, Exfoliating or Scaly.
