General Notes

Branches droop but resist breakage.

Native to Southeastern United States.

Conical or Oval Shape.

Has Evergreen foliage.

Height: 60 - 100 feet.

Width: 35 - 50 feet.

Growth Rate: 24 or More Inches per Year.

Leaves Needle, Green, No Change, Evergreen.

Flowers Inconspicuous. Yellow. Flowers in Spring. Has separate male and female flowers on the same tree (monoecious).

Persistent, Brown Cone, Large to Very Large (1.50 to 3.00 or more inches), fruiting in Summer Wildlife use it.

Bark Gray or Brown, Fissured.

Shading Capacity Rated as Low to Moderately Low in Leaf.

Litter Issue is Fruit and Leaves.
