General Notes

Resistant to oak root fungus. Needs good drainage. Cal-IPC (California Invasive Plant Council) lists this plant as unknown invasiveness. Has Fragrant Leaf. SelecTree lists no cultivars of chinensis.
A Pistacia chinensis in Sacramento Capital Park #113 is registered as a California Big Tree. It measures 64 feet high, with a trunk circumference of 79 inches and a crown spread of 52 feet for a total of 156 points.
