Has fragrant bark. Native to Oregon, California, Baja and Mexico.
     A Pinus jeffreyi in Tioga Pass Road is registered as a California Big Tree. It measures 186 feet high, with a trunk circumference of 282 inches and a crown spread of 66 feet.
