Abies concolor 'Violacea'


General Notes


     Has silver-blue foliage. Grown in a large open area can become a wonderful specimen tree. Has fragrant bark and leaf. Native to Southwestern United States.
     An Abies concolor in Yosemite National Park is registered as a California Big Tree. It measures 217 feet high, with a trunk circumference of 276 inches and a crown spread of 39 feet.
