GENERAL INFO

Eucalyptus × 'Torwood' is an artifical hybrid between E. torquata and E. woodwardii, exhibiting charactersitics of both. This relatively small and fast-growing tree features dull green foliage and smooth, grey to orange bark. In summer, the canopy becomes adorned with spectacular flowers in varying shades of yellow, orange, and scarlet. These bloooms can persist year-round, and are attractive to nectar-feeding birds. This tree is not only beautiful but also low-maintenance and drought tolerant. While it is not commonly cultivated in California, it is ideal for xeriscaping and mediterranean climates.
