Makes good street tree; noninvasive roots, casts light shade. Moderate growth rate. Pendulus habit. These Australian trees have water-filled leaves that are fire resistant.
Native to Australia.
A Geijera parviflora in Goleta is registered as a California Big Tree. It measures 49 feet high, with a trunk circumference of 82 inches and a crown spread of 64 feet.
