Tree Characteristics

Compact and Erect with a Low Canopy.

Columnar Shape.

Has Deciduous foliage.

Height: 40 - 60 feet.

Width: 5 - 8 feet.

Growth Rate: 24 to 36 Inches per Year.

Longevity Greater than 150 years.

Leaves Lobed and Palmate, Dark Green, Gold or Orange, Deciduous.

Flowers Inconspicuous. Flowers in Spring. Has separate male and female flowers on the same tree (monoecious).

Prolific, Brown, Beige or Mostly Green Capsule with Winged Seeds, Large (1.50 - 3.00 inches), fruiting in Fall Wildlife use it.

Bark Light Green or Light Gray, Fissured.

Shading Capacity Rated as Dense in Leaf.

Shading Capacity Rated as Moderate out of Leaf.

Litter Issue is Dry Fruit.
